-Looks like things have taken a turn in my favor. I've captured my first ever title... It isn't exactly what I thought it'd be... I thought I'd have a singles belt strapped across my waist, but a tag belt is nice too. Now, I've been getting so many texts, call, tweets, and e-mails asking me about Hell Frozen Over and asking me to come do interviews and such for the media. They don't want to talk to me about winning my first title, they want to talk to me about Hell Froze Over... Guess I can't get my glory until the battle is over.-
(Scene opens. We're inside of the empty USPW Ameri-Dome, the ring is setting in the middle of the Ameri-Dome proudly. A man is inside of it, He's wearing a brown suit with a red tie hanging down, his hands are craddled together resting on his sternum. His face is lit up with a huge smile.)
Man- "Hello ladies and gentlemen, I am your host for the evening, George McDonell, I'm with a local D.C. sports network and have been given the job of getting inside the mind of Izzy Inzane. I've recently set down with Mr.Inzane and we've had a few words, but we'll get to that a little later on the show. For now, we have some footage we'd like to show you.
(George McDonell un-locks his hands and motions toward the titantron. A movie like picture begins to play. At first we see a very young Izzy Inzane, He's got his old dreads dangling on top of his head as the movie shows him high-flying all over the ring.)
George McDonell- "This is, Izzy Inzane in his prime, when ever he was just breaking into the wrestleing scene. He was fairly successsful in his start in the business, starting out in a low budget place that was training superstars so they could join the bigger stage some where down the road. Well, Izzy didn't have to wait long at all being promoted almost instantly to the upper levels of, GWA, becoming a huge sensation with the fans. Izzy went into GWA a novice in wrestleing, and was taken under the wing of long time legends, Troy "The Baller" Franklin, The Dean, and "The Silent Assassin" Brien Cage, and became a member of one of the greatest teams ever, "The Royal Horsemen". He continue to rise amongst the ranks in GWA and became one of the premire stars, As his career in GWA came to an end he lost touch with "The Royal Horsemen" and all the other GWA superstars, and took his life back to his hometown of Detroit City, Michigan."
(The movie changes and a picture of Izzy shows up, This picture shows him setting down on some run down porch steps, surrounded by his family. He's still rocking his dreads and the baggy clothes from that era, his face has a huge smile on it.)
George McDonell- "Izzy kept his nose out of wrestleing for a few years,He stayed roaming around his hometown keeping his nose out of all media type things. He managed to get a job as a trainer at a local Detroit gym, "Road to Perfection", he worked there for a few years when he met his now long time friend, Redd, Redd encouraged Izzy to return to the ring after he recieved a call from a former GWA superstar that had recentley joined USPW, AJ Johnson, He told Izzy that USPW needed new talent and Izzy agreed to return to the ring."
(The sceen changes once more, and this time it's a more recent picture of Izzy, He's sporting a clean buzz cut, and is in the ring wearing his ring gear. He's freshly removed from a match, the sweat is still on his body, and he looks exhausted.)
George McDonell- "Now, Izzy is a USPW superstar that goes out every night and risk life and limb to impress his fans. He's currently holding a record of two and two, and currently one half of the USPW Tag Team Champions. We're now going to get on with the interview footage between Mr.Inzane and myself. Here you go."
(The screne goes black, but quickly fills back up. This time we're inside of a cozy, nicely lit room. Izzy is setting down in a tall wooden movie director style chair and we see George McDonell setting in the same type of chair. George McDonell is wearing a simliar suit to the one he has on inside the ring, and Izzy is wearing a tight fitted white v-neck t-shirt, and has a gold necklace on, along with his half of the USPW Tag Team Titles setting in his lap.)
George McDonell- "Let me start off by telling you, Mr.Inzane that this is truely and honor to be setting down with you, I'm a huge fan of everything you do in and out of the ring. I'm truely honored."
Izzy- "It's my pleasure. I always enjoy setting down and talking."
George McDonell- "Now, I know you've been in and out of wrestling throught out your life and you've done alot of things that could've ended your career in the ring. But, I'd first like to focus on you're life prior to professional wrestling. How was your childhood ?"
Izzy- "Well, I had everything you could hope for Both parents, who loved me to death, a big sister that helped me with all my problems, and a little brother that was my best friend. I had it all, I didn't live in a bad neighborhood, I was sent to private schools, Hell I even graduated high school with honors and at the top of my class. During high school I tended to be an outkast, simply because I played all kinds of sports, such as Soccerr and Basketball but I never went to the parties or social events they held after games and stuff. So, My childhood was pretty normal."
George McDonell- "So a pretty typical childhood. How about your adult life out of wrestling ?"
Izzy- "Well it was different than what I was use to. I didn't have my mom and dad watching over me, because around the time I left wrestling they had both passed away. So, I really had no guidence and I drifted off into a life that I didn't like... I layed around doing nothing all day, smoking and drinking. Then I went over to the gym where Redd was working at and he hooked me up with a job, then I got a call form a guy I use to work with in GWA and ended up signing up to USPW to come back to wrestleing, which helped me turn my life around."
George McDonell- "So, now that you've been with USPW for a little while, would you tell me how you like it there so far ?"
Izzy- "I love it so far. I've had a few run ins with Mischoff and the guy that helped me win this belt, Mike Mahoney, but other than that I think it's a great place I wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We've got a ton of talented superstars and I think USPW is capable of competeing against any other company."
George McDonell- "How about Hell Frozen Over, what's your thoughts on the Pay-per-view, Do you think it'll compare to Forsaken, which is where you made your USPW debut."
Izzy- "I think Hell Frozen Over will blow away the whole world. We've got the most stacked card that it's not even funny. Forsaken was a great Pay-per-view, the Champions Advantage ladder match really stole the show. I plan on stealing the show at Hell Frozen Over during my Last Man Standing match against Mike Mahoney. I'm going out there not only to steal the show and impress the fans, but I'm going out there to get what's rightfully mine... The USPW Television Title."
George McDonell- "I wanted to ask you about that, Are you still holding a grudge against Mike Mahoney for willingly screwing you out of your first ever title in a wrestling company ? I know you won the match and then Mitchoff came out and reset the match and you ended up getting choked out cold, because you couldn't defend yourself."
Izzy- "I'm not holding a grudge against him by any means, He did what he did and there's no changing it now... I'm still pissed that I had my first title and got it ripped away from me in a matter of seconds. So, Not a grudge... But more of a personel hatred toward him... That's why I made this a last man standing match, because I want to destroy him in the ring, I'm going to leave him laying lifeless in the center of the ring, or where ever the match goes and take the USPW Television Titls away from him and leave him feeling the same way I did whenever he ripped it away from me."
George McDonell- "I think you've got what it takes to win the match this Sunday Izzy, I really do. One othet thing I want to ask that we didn't discuss earlier, Who was like your mentor into the wrestling scene ? Who helped you the most ?"
Izzy- "My mentor... I didn't really have a mentor until I got in GWA and met Troy and Dean, they really molded me to who I am. Troy taught me how to handle myself proffesionally and Dean helped me understand the life I was in for becoming a wrestler. Troy took me under his wing and showed me everything, He trained me, introduced me to his family, he was like another brother to me, he even took me to Soldiers Palace. Are you aware of what Soldiers Palace is ? It's the establishment that makes men and breaks men. He treated me like family and I couldn't have asked for more. As for Dean, he didn't take to me at first, I think it was because of the way I portrayed myself, as a dread head, baggy clothes wearing "Thug". He treated me like a little bitch...But, after a while I realized what he was doing, He was helping me. After a few months riding with Dean and Troy I found myself not trying to be a "Thug" but trying to be a proffesional, and show people I ment business. That's when I realized Dean was just pulling me away from my old lifestyle and putting me into the lifestyle of a "Royal Horseman", They're the reason I've prospured so much in wrestling today."
George McDonell- "So you give those two the credit, But what about your other fellow "Royal Horsemen" Brien Cage ? "The Silent Assassin" ?"
Izzy- "He helped me too. He wasn't around so much in GWA so I never really met him until one night at Soldiers Palace, Troy was taking me there for a huge party that was set up, and when we arrived Dean and Brien were already there, so Troy introduces me to Brien, this being the first time I had ever met him. Brien asked me to take a stroll through Soldiers Palace with him so we could talk. So he took me through the Soldiers Palace and we talked about what I was wanting to accomplish in the wrestling industry and he told me about his past and things of that nature. But, that was one of the very few times I ever came into contact with Brien, but I still think of him as a very, very good friend."
George McDonell- "The Royal Horsemen are who you credit becoming such a break out start to. Another things that is raceing through my mind right now is, Last Friday night at Freedom. You went into the ring to sign a contract for the huge match that's coming up at Hell Frozen Over, and you end up teaming up with the man that you earlier said you have a personal hatred toward. How does that happen ?"
Izzy- "I can't even tell you to be completely honest, I wasn't expecting for Trent and Cameron Cash to come out and challenge us like that. I thought I'd be able to get my hands on Mahoney right then and there, but they came out and challenged us. I remember Mahoney looking over at me and saying lets do it, so I was like sure, it can't hurt anything, and we ended up winning the USPW Tag Team Titles. It's a very complex situation."
George McDonell- "Wow, that's kinda awkward. Now you hold the tag belts with a man that screwed you out of the Television title and according to the Hell Frozen Over you've got to wrestle with Mike Mahoney in a tag match against the number one contenders 25-to-life, and then you've got to go back out and wrestle later on that night in a Last Man Standing match. That's going to make your night rough as hell, Izzy."
Izzy- "I guess it could. But, I'm planning on busting my ass to go out there Sunday night and destroy 25-to-life and then go back out there and whoop Mike Mahoneys ass all over the Resch Center in Green Bay, and that's not a threat, it's a promise."
(Izzys phone begins to ring and he pulls it out of his pocket and answers it. The camera goes back to and in-ring shot of George McDonell who is still standing in the ring, his hands are stuffed deep down in his pockets. He's got a big smile across his face.)
George McDonell- "That's all the interview footage we have, Izzy recieved a call and had to leave on some personal business. But that doesn't mean our show is over by any means. I've got to tell you guys about what I learned after setting down and disecting Izzy Inzane. I'll start by saying that this man is a hardworking, wholesome kind of guy. He'll do anything for the fans, even if it means chopping his own arm off. I've also learned that Mr.Inzane has a very loving family. It wasn't shown during my interview with him, But we did discuss his family more in depth, and he told me that he still keeps in touch with his brother and sister and they talk on an almost daily basis. I've much enjoyed my time with Mr.Inzane, he was just as friendly as I thought he would be and I really enjoyed the time I spent with him. That's all the time I've got left, until next time, this is George McDonell signing off."
(The camera begins to slowly back away as some music is playing, But the screen goes black. Our camera quickly recovers and we're inside of the infamous D.C. apartment of none other than Izzy Inzane. He's setting back on the couch, wearing no shirt and a pair of baby-blue ahtletic shorts on, one of his arms is draped over Rosie who is setting next to him, and one arm is lying beside him with a remote control in his hand.)
Izzy- "What'd you think ? I look alot sexier on camera don't I ?"
Rosie- "Mhmm. I really liked it, you didn't come off sounding really cocky or a douche bag. You kept the same attitude you always do, Loving. When they asked about your mentors, you told them everything Troy, Dean, and Brien did for you. You didn't try to put up a front about your childhood either talking about how you didn't have anything, you told them about your actual life. I'm very impressed, and proud of you."
Izzy- "I've got to give credit where credit is due, the three of them really put me where I'm at today. As for my childhood, I can't put up a front about things that didn't happen. If my sister or brother saw it I'd be getting bitched at non-stop."
Rosie- "So, Outside all of the personal things, everything you said about that Mike guy... Was it true ? You did say that you have a personal hatred toward him... That's kind of a little on the harsh side don't you think ?"
Izzy- "Nah, it's the truth. He screwed me over, you remember ? I beat him fair and square and I ended up getting screwed over because he's getting paid millions of dollars and I've got a real little pay check that's just enough to pay the bills and put food on the table. So, is it to harsh to say I hate him ? No, I don't think so at all."
(Rosie shakes her head and lays down, lying her head in Izzys lap. Izzy drops the remote controller and starts to run his fingers through her flowing hair. She closes her eyes and begins to drift off to sleep. Izzy stays wide awake running his fingers through her hair as he begins to ponder some thoughts.)
Izzy-(To Himself.) "I guess that the success is getting me noticed... I just got a prime time television spot to just set down and discuss what was on my mind and a few things from my past, it feels weird. I'm not use to having eyes on me, everyone's paying attention to the heat between myself and Mahoney... I guess the hate between us is so hyped up after him screwing me and us teaming up and winning the tag titles... It's different, I'm going to have to get use to it because after I win the USPW Television Title the media is going to be all over me, wanting interviews, wanting me to do talk shows and all kinds of shit... It's going to take some time, but... I'll just have to adapt."
(Izzy lays back and keeps running his fingers through Rosies hair. Izzy grabs the remote and flips the television back on to some random television show. He sets the remote down and lays his head back on the couch as the scene slowly fades into darkness.)
