{{Little is known about the brawler from Asheville, North Carolina named Cajun Flames, aside from the fact that he doesnt take nonsense and that he wont back down from a fight when its presented to him. We also know that Cajun Flames is not his real name, but a name that was given to him by a promoter in the North Carolina area when he made his debut just over three years ago. His real name is Michael Blake III, and he is named after his father and grand father. He is a uncommon talent in the wrestling ring, as he has the ability not only to hit his opponent with the "Ragin' Cajun" Spear, but to also level his opponent with a vast array of moves in ANY situation.}}
{{Right now, Cajun is sitting in his home. He is wearing a black plain shirt, jeans and black shoes. To us, it matches his rugged approach to wrestling, as well as allows him to look somewhat flashy at times. He then smiles, before speaking for the first time in this setting.}}
//Cajun Flames// "Some people say that if you're not professional in this business, then you should atleast ACT professional. You know what? I dont exactly agree with that statement, as professionalism is a vague thing and whats professional to one party, may NOT mean the same thing to another party. You have alot of those factors to decide before you judge on what professionalism means and who it affects. Its something which all wrestlers can learn, seeing as the professional nature of some, may not be what others think. I know that ive been called unprofessional in the past for some of my mannerisms, when to me they HAVE been professional. Thats just how things go in this business.
This week though, i make my official USPW debut, against a man named Robert Divine in what will be an interesting TV title tournament match, so to speak. Itll be a match where i know i have to be at my best, or else someone like him can easily defeat me in a heart-beat. Thats what i DONT want to happen. Im not planning on allowing him to have ANY time to breathe going into the match, because i want him to know he aint walking out the victor at all. In fact, he will be lucky if he even walks out of the ring on his own accord this week."
{{Typical Cajun there. He loves to get inside of his opponents head by using tactics much like he is currently. Its something which most opponents fall into the lure of, as they dont understand why Cajun would make bold statements like what he has been known to do in the past. Especially when its almost like he isnt giving his opponent any chance of walking away with the win.}}
//Cajun Flames// "I know anything can happen in the ring, but thats only if you're stupid enough to let anything happen. If you go out there with a purpose and you STICK to that purpose, than theres no way that youll lose. Ive learnt that through many experiences, both good and bad. There aint many that can compare them self to me in that regard. There aint many who can literally tell you that there been in the ring with someone who has changed there scope of vision, like i have. Most of all, there aint many who can look you in the eye and honestly tell you there not going to lose this week without having ANY doubts."
{{More mind games there. Cajun is somebody who likes to put doubt into his opponents minds, so that they second-guess the end result of the match. It allows him to wrestle the way HE wants, as well as make sure the opponent feels the pressure on them. Its something that has got him alot of wins in the past, so he doesnt see any need to change it at all.}}
//Cajun Flames// "Divine, you're no different in that regard. I know you have doubts about being able to win this week against myself and i dont blame you. I mean, a man's due to have doubts when facing a talent which is superior in every damn way possible. Its not weak to admit you're in to deep, because honestly, and this is being totally unbiased: you ARE in to over your head. If you look at me and then look at you, you realize right away you're out matched and out skilled in the ring. You're also more likely to be out smarted in the ring, seein' as i know EXACTLY how to use the rule book to my advantage like non other in the ring.
Dont think people will call you surrendering this week in the tournament as a sign you cant hack it with the rest. Oh no. Management will probably see it as a sign of maturity and be able to know that atleast you admit you have a threshold to pain. Whilst that mightnt get you far in this business, its a positive to know youve got limits and you have the discipline to keep to them, no matter what. Discipline is one of the most valued things in this business and only the strongest of competitors have it. Am i someone who has discipline? Of course."
{{Cajun then laughs, surprised that there would be ANY doubt about him having discipline.}}
//Cajun Flames// "I have the discipline to abstain from influences which might lead me asunder in my quest to be the best wrestler i can be. In fact, my will power is alot stronger than the vast majority yet people still throw around the word will power like it means nothing. Those are the people who live in self-doubt and confusion and trust me Robert, you dont want to be like them. There the people who loose everything and try to keep them self relevant by throwing together dis jointed statements that make NO sense to the common man. There the people who went one step too far in there quest for greatness. This week, you WILL join that list, should you make the decision to show up. For as non violent i look and seem outside of the ring, you dont want to see my demeanor when i step into the ring, as it becomes a man who is out for blood. A man who will hold no regret or remorse, should he end your career in the ring."
{{Cajun then smiles. His mannerisms change alot from when he's in public, to when he's in the ring. Thats something that has ALWAYS been a fact about him and it aint about to change anytime soon.}}
//Cajun Flames// "Alot of people dont understand the comments i make aint threats, because threats arent going to be backed up in the ring. I have every intention in backing up my comments in the ring and its up to you to accept that, or face the harsh reality of the situation falling way out of you're control. Trust me, ill make sure its out of your control and that if you try and tempt fate, youll crash and burn without ANY regard to the safety you may hold dear to you.
What may also help to know, is that im NOT like any other man youve ever met. Not only can i take you to the extreme, but i can go blow for blow with you down low as well as out pace you in a test of stamina. Mentally im above normal. Its the same physically, but my mental focus is what will keep you second guessing on whether or not you're actually on track to acquire a big win against me. The moment you think youve won, may be the moment you LOOSE the match. If you leave me for ONE SECOND, its all i need to finish you off and to ensure you're left without the euphoria which surrounds a HUGE win."
{{Another smile. This time it has a purpose behind it, as Cajun is not only messing with his opponent's head, but using his ability to shut off ANY distractions from interfering to his advantage. He has NEVER been phased by circumstances around him. Its a testament to he's will power and mental strength that he preaches about.}}
//Cajun Flames// "It also means that you have to return to square one and ask yourself where did i go wrong? What mistakes did i make, that led to me falling to defeat? And the answer will be: i dug myself to big of a hole by stepping into the ring with Cajun Flames. Especially as there was a title tournament spot on the line. I should have gone and researched him, before stepping into the ring. If you did that, youd see that i increase production a thousand-fold when theres a title at stake. I call it emotional drive and it shows my desire to acquire gold and show why i deserve it MORE than anyone else on the roster. Its how a champion SHOULD be, yet no one understands that simple philosophy. Alot of people believe that they should be handed everything and others should be left out.
That achieves nothing what so ever, aside from feeding an undeserved ego. Robert, you're lack of understanding about this business from what i gathered, shows you ARE one of those people and as such, you need to learn alot before you can try to compare with me. Dont worry though, you're not the only person who needs to learn."
{{Cajun then laughs as he stands up. Some may call him arrogant but he doesnt care.}}
//Cajun Flames// "Every Damn Person in this tournament needs to know there NOT in for an easy ride and Divine, you're going to be the example i use this week, to further prove my case."
{{Cajun then stands up and vacates the scene. Soon, this promo will be on the web for the entire world to see the confidence that "Ragin" Cajun Flames has going into his round one assignment.}}

--- Divine; Ready for War March 21st, 2012 ---Hello and welcome USPW fans! This is Colin Blake of the USPW, and I have the pleasure of bringing you the most up to date wrestling news with this column featuring Robert Divine.
After a two year hiatus, Robert Divine has found himself back in the squared circle. This time signing a six month contract with the upstart promotion out of Washington DC, United States Pro Wrestling. For the past two years Divine has been busy in his home state of Iowa, attempting to jumpstart a professional wrestling school with his lifetime-long friend Ian Wright.
Thus far the wrestling school has been a complete success, and much credit is due to Divine’s determination and hard work - much like his attitude in the ring. In recent years, Divine has been one of the hardest workers in the business, and it was only a matter of time before he would find himself back inside the wrestling ring.
And that time is now.
On Friday March 23rd at the USPW Ameri-Dome in Washington DC, Robert Divine finds himself in the First Round of the Television Title Tournament against 24 year old, Cajun Flames. Divine hopes to bring his ring experience to D.C. and overcome the larger Flames and move on to the next round of the tournament. The tournament champion will be decided in one night, so endurance, perseverance and concentration are a must for Robert Divine if he wants to make an impact in this tournament.
Robert Divine is not a stranger to tournaments like these, as he has seen it all in his illustrious career. So, be sure to tune in to your local broadcast to witness the first ever United States Pro Wrestling event! Good luck to Mr. Divine and all of the other competitors on Friday night!---- [March 15th, 2012 - Mason City, Iowa][The camera flickers on, and the shot fades into a local professional wrestling gym. Sure, we could have filmed this in a picturesque run-down and dirty gymnasium, but that would not have been fitting for a man of Robert Divine’s stature. Divine was a man that liked doing things perfect. This surely was the case as the camera panned through out the scene - the turnbuckles glistened, the lights shined down brightly on the square circle and there wasn’t an ounce of dust in the air. ] [Welcome to the “Gym of Divine Intervention,” home of Robert Divine‘s wrestling school.] [From out of the camera shot walked Robert Divine and Ian Wright. Robert’s bald head shined in the bright lights, and he was dressed in simple black sweat pants and a v-neck white tee shirt. He was in peak physical condition at the age of 32 as he walked confidently towards the wrestling ring. Behind him followed his best friend, Ian Wright. The two had created a bond over the years in the independent wrestling circuit and had been together since. Wright was wearing nicely pressed khaki pants, blue boat shoes and a tight fitting maroon polo. And by the way, Ian’s light brown hair was perfect like usual.] Wright: “So, you’re actually doing it man… you’re going to re-enter the squared circle?” [There was no hesitation in Divine’s voice when replying.] Divine: “Absolutely. I officially signed the contract today with USPW and I will be heading to Washington DC by the end of this week. It’s about time I get back in the ring. I need to finish what I started.” [Wright nods his head in agreement. While Divine continues speaking.] Divine: “Besides, we’ve established our gym here in good ol’ Mason City - we’re running a tight ship and things will only get better for the gym. It’s time we get back out there on the circuit…” [Ian looks confused.] Wright: “We? As in me… and you…?” Divine: “That’s correct. You’re coming with me. For the last couple of years we’ve been an unstoppable pair. With your guidance and management, and my years of ring experience - anything is possible.” Wright: “I’m not going to argue with that. So when is the first event?” [Divine smirks, as he knows it is right around the corner.] Divine: “March 23rd… next Friday.” [Wright doesn’t blink an eye.] Wright: “Well, we better get your butt into shape!” [The shot fades out as Ian Wright and Robert Divine embrace in a handshake. Things were moving fast for Robert Divine… just the way he liked it. The USPW event was right around the corner, and nobody was going to stop him from making an impact.] ----- [March 21st, 2012. - Washington DC][Promo time.] [The USPW banner was hung against a dimly lit wall. A collected Robert Divine stood in front of the camera. Beads of sweat dripped down his bald forehead, as he wiped them away methodically. His pearly white teeth flashed through his lips as he let out a simple smile. He knew it was time to make an impact - it was now or never.] Divine: “Wrestling fans, believe it or not I am about to make my return into the squared circle. It’s been a long two years away from the ring wrestling professionally - but I’m feeling better than ever, and it’s now my time to truly shine. I will be the first to admit that my career has been a complete roller coaster, but I’ve just come off a two year hiatus - my injuries have healed, my mind is at ease and I am ready for anything!” [Divine makes a dramatic pause.] Divine: “And it is all going to start in Washington DC, our nation’s capital. I am lucky enough to have been chosen to participate in the inaugural event of the United States Professional Wrestling’s Freedom! I’ve been paired off against a man by the name of Cajun Flames in the first round of the Television tournament. A one night tournament where the best man will walk away with the glistening title around their waist. And, I’m not going to make any promises or talk about my twisted fantasies like some of the other wrestlers in the competition - but I am going to tell you that I’m going to go out there and give it my all… give it my best… my 100%. And if that’s not enough, may the best man win!” [Divine points triumphantly at the camera, and once again continues.] Divine: “And Flames, every time you open your mouth it appears as if you are the greatest wrestler to have ever stepped on this Earth. And, if that’s truly the case…. so be it. But, I have a feeling… I have this tiny hunch, that all of this talk is going to mean NOTHING come Friday night. Because it appears as if you like to talk without doing your homework. - which means you probably actually do not know much about me. So, here is a veteran tip… don’t speak, unless you know what you’re truly getting yourself into.” [Divine smirks at the camera.] Divine: “And don’t you ever question my understanding of the business ever again, because I will make you eat those words. Now, save your breath, stop rambling - and listen to my simple words; you have a reality check coming on Friday, it’s going to start with wrestling 101 and end with a three count.” [Robert Divine wipes his brow and takes a deep breath.] Divine: “From my understanding there are also quite a lot of quality opponents in this tournament. So, I’d like to extend my well wishes to all of them. And if I do happen to get through to the next round I will be mentally and physically prepared to face off against any opponent in this tournament…”
Divine: “Might it be against the self proclaimed ‘Pissed Off Tough Cat’ of Shawn Starr - whatever that may mean. Or Corey ‘I’m not off the street’ Jenkins… Or I very well may meet the respectable Jasper Locke… or perhaps Strikeout, a man who has “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” for his entrance music… that’s one hell of a tune, I may add. Or perhaps the man known as Mark Force…”
[His smirk turns to a straight face. He tilts his head, and stares intently into the camera.]
Divine: “Friday is almost upon us. It’s time for Robert Divine to get back into the ring, and show the world what he is truly made out of.”
[Fade out.]
