USPW
Television Championship
[/b][/u][/size]Television Championship
Don’t let the fact that the USPW Television Title isn’t “the grandest prize of them all” here stop you from respecting this championship for what it is. It’s an achievement that people have gone to war for, ranging from the first ever Friday Night Freedom’s legendary tournament to crown a champion to it’s interesting transformation into “The King of the Cage” championship, this belt is no joke, and only the elite can consider themselves USPW Television Champion.
Shawn Starr
March 23, 2012 – April 29, 2012
Say what you will about this Canadian superstar joining a wrestling federation with the words “United States” in its name and American plastered all over the arena, the fact is Shawn Starr is USPW’s first ever champion of any kind and he won it in convincing fashion, with a Television Title tournament. Shawn Starr joined the United Soldiers of Anarchy and things really looked up for him, but before the old USPW General Manager, before GM Ray, ultimately got fired he had one last creative decision up his sleeve… To suspend and strip the talented Shawn Starr of his USPW success.
Vacant
April 29, 2012 – May 27, 2012
Due to the controvery surrounding the United Soldiers of Anarchy and the Television champion, Remy, the GM of USPW had no choice but to vacate the title and suspend Starr for one month without pay. But having a title vacant for over a month can really hurt the title's image. The next champion would have to work hard, and prove his worth to regain the prestige of this championship.
