John walks into the backstage area and starts conversing with wrestlers and divas around him. He then sees the match schedule outside the GM's room and looks for his match. After seeing what match he has to be in, he has a shocked look on his face. He then looks to his friend who is an intern there for the pyrotechnics guy.
John: How am I suppossed to win this match? I'm a rookie.
Friend: I don't know man. I don't know. Just try your best.
John: What if my best isn't good enough?
A worker there walks up to them.
Worker: Don't worry about it. Lots of wrestlers have lost their first match. Just don't make it a habit of losing.
John: Ok,thanks. That was good advice.
Friend: I could've said that.
John: Sure you could've, buddy. Sure you could've.

John Sands was nervous. He was practically shaking. In a couple of hours he was going to have a match which would prove whether or not he deserved to be here. He was watching all the other wrestlers who didn't look as nervous as he was. Some of them looked downright confident. John could not believe this. He was thinking of giving up and going home until something happened to him. A little boy who was in a wheelchair came into the locker room. He had a backstage pass and a big smile on his face. A person who worked for UCW introduced him.
(Lady): Everybody, this is Steve. He is a big fan of ours.
The wrestlers all came up and shook his hand. Some gave the kid merchandise. John was the last one to go up.
(John): How's it going, kid?
(Kid): It's going pretty good now that I met all of you. Even you. Tough I have never seen you before.
(John): Oh, I'm John Sands. I'm a new wrestler here.
The kid screwed his face around like he was thinking.
(Kid): Oh, yeah. You're one of those guys that's going to be in that huge battle royal.
(John): Yeah, that's me.
(Kid): Can I have your autograph? Just in case you win?
The kid held out a wrestling shirt with all of these other signatures on it. John took the shirt and signed it "Thank you for thinking I can win, John Sands". The kid took the shirt and thanked John.
(John): No problem. Hope you have a good time watching the matches tonight.
(Kid); I will. Thanks.
The kid then left the room and John went back to thinking.
