Ok! A lot has been going around here in USPW, and as you know we have new owners! So I’d like to take the opportunity to introduce myself, as 1 of the 3 new co-owners of USPW. My name is Cloe, and I have a bit of experience with this. I have created e-feds from scratch but never had a golden opportunity like this to help run one! So I know you have a few questions and let me try and answer them.
1.) Don’t let my partner, Mischoff, scare you because his name rhymes with a certain someone who really helped bring TNA down to the ground. We love and respect USPW, and we are not here to change everything into our own vision of things, we are simply here to pick up where Mr Image left off. I really like a lot of aspects about this federation. I like the mini-cartoon wrestlers we use as pictures, I like the American theme, I like the bright colors (doesn’t it seem like every e-fed is black and dark and gloomy?), I like the established character and I love the talent we have here. You guys are great RPers, and I enjoy everyone from the seasoned veterans to the new guys learning the ropes!
2.) Though we won’t change much, there is a couple things we currently plan on changing. Nothing major, but I am looking into the process of replacing the custom designed USPW championship belts with familiar looking belts from real wrestling federations. They would keep the same name, and same title history and lineage, but they may physically change.
3.) We’re going to be putting a big emphasis (and really encourage you) on submitting segments, interviews, angles and spots for the results. E-wrestling was created in the 90’s, and it’s evolved since then. RPs are a lot of fun, but great results on Friday or Sunday nights make things fun to read. Even in the real WWE the times times on Raw have shifted from Rock cutting an epic promo and coming to the ring for a bland match that ends in predictable fashion, to CM Punk cutting a simple promo and coming to the ring and putting on an epic match.
4.) We’re taking the 1/3 ownership thing seriously. There was a problem with the old USPW and that was that one guy went down with an illness and the other two never stepped up. Why have a GM and VP if you’re doing everything? In fact, the GM only showed up once, posted a typo-filled non-sense sentence, and never showed up again. Anybody remember “From the Office of Remy?”. If anything ever happens to one of us three, (let’s say I have to quit) we will personally assign a new 1/3 power to replace that one. And so the cycle can continue, and USPW won’t have to die.
5.) As of right now, we are toying with the idea of running the Freedom (exactly as was scheduled) this Friday on the 18th, and running Forsaken next weekend, as planned. However, you can expect this particular Freedom to be short summaries and / or simmed and simple results, as we continue to get new ownership of USPW ironed out.
Thanks Frankie Image for your love and support!
And thanks to all the USPW talent who stick around and give the new owners a chance! We will not let you down!
Please, (if you havn't yet) post a reply here or in another thread to let us know if you're still on board the USPW. I see a few readers, now I would like to see a few "I'm on board" comments.
Thanks ;D
