Pain is a word with different meanings, but the same feeling. You can have emotional pain, physical pain, and even mental pain. Most people think that pain is all psychological. They think that it's all in your mind and that you only think the pain is there, but it's really not. The people who said that must not had fallen off a ladder through a hard wood floor on a cruise ship. I've tried to think the pain wasn't there, but it just wouldn't go away. It was there. That was my physical pain. My emotional pain hurt way worse than my physical pain. It had hurt my pride. I had lost my most prized possession in all of USPW. I had lost my respect for myself.
I tried my best but I still lost it. The one thing in my career that made me worth something was now gone. Emotional pain was a really hard thing to deal with. The third type of pain I also had. It was mental pain. My Darkness was just itching to come out and it was fighting hard. The headaches were getting worse by the minute. They went from once or twice a week to three times a day. The barrier I had in my mind was weakening by every attack the Darkness threw at me. It was only a matter of time before it was going to get out.
My vision still had a light reddish tint in it, but it was getting darker by the day. I walked out of the doorway of my room on the ship and went to go down the hall. I got about half of the way where I was going, but then all of a sudden dropped. There was that sharp pain again in my head. I laid there screaming for about five minutes until Sara came running to my aid.
"Andrew, Andrew are you alright?" she asked trying to help me up.
I couldn't speak. All I could do was just hold the sides of my head and scream.
"Andrew, just hang on I'll go get help."
But it was too late. It had happened. I laid there motionless. After a few second a sly evil grin formed on my face. John tried to run to go for help, but I called out to him, "Hold on, John. I'm fine," I said with a slightly higher pitched voice. Even tough I wasn't fine, for some reason I said I was. I wasn't in control anymore. The Darkness had gotten loose and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
"Are you sure Andrew? You were screaming like a banshee a minute ago."
"John, John, John, I'm fine," I said with the evil grin still on my face.
"I think we should take you to Chris just incase. You might not want to compete this week."
"I said I'm fine!" I said to him, "But speaking of meeting with Chris; I was heading straight to meet him for a workout session."
"Well maybe we should talk to him about your little attack you had a minute ago."
"I'm positive I won't have another attack," I said smiling. I was right since the Darkness had already gotten out. It had no reason to attack anymore.
"OK what ever you say, I guess. It's your decision, but I'm still going with you to see Chris just incase you got Crysis Harvey."
"What ever. Although I intend to make a little pit stop before we see Chris. You're welcomed to join me if you're interested. Tell one of your camera guys to tag along. The more the merrier," I said with the same evil grin still on my face.
John had called one of his camera guys to meet us along the way. John and I waited about five minutes by the door leading to the upper deck of the ship. The camera guy finally arrived with his camera ready to go.
"I hope you enjoy the show fellows," I said as I slowly pushed the door open. We tip toed quietly up to the bow of the ship. As we got to the top of the little stair case leading to the deck, there was Jason leaning over the guard rail on the bow looking up at the sky. When we got closer to him he looked over towards us.
"There you are Andrew. Why did you want me to meet you here? And why did you bring John and a camera guy?"
"I just needed to see how you are."
Jason began to grin cockily, "I'm pretty Good."
I looked down and gave a little laugh. I looked up with a sly smirk and nodded to him. As Jason was about to say something else I rocked him with a hard right hook straight to his jaw. I pushed him down and mounted on top of him and began unleashing punch after punch to his face. I turned around quickly to make sure the camera was still filming all of this. After I saw it was I went back to punching.
"You see Jason. You might be pretty good but how about now," I said picking him up by his hair. I turned back to the camera giving it one good grin and saw John almost speechless. I turned my attention back to Jason as I leaned him up against the rail.
"What? No cocky words now Jason?"
"Andrew, come on, don't do this. You're going crazy."
"Crazy? Boy I haven't even started yet, but if you want crazy, I'll give you crazy," I said grinning.
"Andrew, please."
I was about to reply, but Jason began throwing his own punches catching me right in the face. I was caught off guard by these and was rocked back.
Holding my jaw, "That was a nice one. I'll give you that."
Jason was enraged now and grabbed my collar and pushed me up against the rail. I don't know why, but my grin never left my face.
"Don't ever fuck with people more superior than you Andrew," Jason said with his face turning red and his nose dripping with blood.
All I could do was laugh as he got even more enraged. He punched me straight in the jaw a couple of times and all that came out of me was a chuckle. He went for another punch, but this time I grabbed his fist and twisted it. He kneeled down from the pain of the wrist lock. It's not an easy hold to stand up to. So simple yet so devastating.
"You see Jason. I'm more powerful than you can ever imagine now. I'm not just myself anymore. I guess you can call me. I just smile evilly at him"
I looked towards the camera, "Make sure you get this next part," I said with a wink.
I grabbed Jason by the back of his neck. I ran towards the rail and flipped him over the side. He let out a scream on the way down until he hit the water with a loud splash. John and the camera man's face were in shock. They couldn't even believe what they had just witnessed.
"Andrew, are you fucking crazy!?"
I didn't even respond. I just walked past him and said, "Make sure you play that video?"
Before he could respond I just left. I had a prior meeting with Chris I had planned. I left and headed for Chris's room on the ship. I knew he was going to blow up when he found out what I had done, but at this moment I honestly didn't care. I didn't care what was going to happen to me or anyone else. This was the new me. No more worries and no more pain for Crysis Harvey is in for a world of pain.
