A dark room. A large bed is situated to one side with a small wooden table placed next to it. On the table, an inexpensive lamp that is currently off. Shadows are clearly defined in this room as clear moonlight shines through a large window that is placed to the side of the bed, the curtains are open and through the clean, clear windows, a dark, dirty urban landscape is seen. Up above, the black sky is clear with small, indifferent stars and a clear moon shining down upon the buildings scarred with damage and graffiti. A few cars drive past, splashing some puddles as they drive past, with loud expensive sound systems playing loud underground music. As the sound of music fades away into the distance, a calm but direct voice is heard in the room.
Savage: When the light shines within us, darkness soon follows. When our actions speak nobility, vile actions inevitably follow. When we speak the truth is it always the truth, or just a half lie? And as everyone should know a half truth is a whole lie! But those who deem themselves too important will always remain detached from reality no matter how real it all is to them...
Out of the dark shadows, walks Andrew Savage. Wearing an all black robe, Andrew Savage slowly walks across the room and pulls out a wooden chair that was in the shadow, then pulls out another smaller chair and places it in front of the first chair. Andrew Savage sits down and rests back on the chair, placing his feet on the smaller chair. In silence, Andrew Savage looks out of the window and the distinct reflection of moonlight reflects on his shades and into the camera for a few moments, he begins to speak in a calm tone.
Savage: The night looks calmer than last night, everything looks at peace. But when looking through the window of this cheap motel, everything looks the same. Moonlight looks like moonlight, darkness looks like darkness and buildings look like, well, buildings! Everything has its place and time and creates a complete whole! You, Crysis Harvey, are simply another example of diversity with this company! You are a part of a whole, just like everybody else! You contribute your piece and you pay your dues!
Andrew Savage pauses for a moment and takes a slow, relaxing breath.
Savage: But that is not enough for you is it? You don't like to consider yourself equal to others, do you? Everyone must be equal, except for you? Why is that Crysis? In a busy urban metropolis like this, I suppose you would consider yourself, a flashy parade of colors, fireworks and lights! Amazing all in equal amounts! But not exactly one of the crowds yourself! Diversity is not a crime, but in cases of ego-mania, such as yours, it's an annoyance! But I know, I know that deep inside your heart, deep inside your soul and deep within your being, you are scared!
Andrew Savage smiles as he finishes the words and takes a quick look around for a moment before resuming.
Savage: Scared of what? You would say. I know what you're scared of! You're not scared of a challenge! You're not scared of inflicting permanent damage on others! You're not scared of the risks you take inside the wrestling ring! You are scared of being seen as the selfish, snobbish prick you are! You simply cannot see yourself like the rest of us do, as a wrestler! You have to see yourself as something more, something different, something special! I'm not going to ridicule your abilities for I'm pretty sure you're ready come Freedom! You might not like that part of you, the part that craves for selfish desire! You see it as a sin! You see it as the truly evil part of yourself! When you see that part of yourself, you are scared! When I see that part of myself, I feed from it, the hatred, the desire, the evil! When you accept it as a part of human nature, it makes you a more complete person. When you master it as a wrestler inside the wrestling ring, it makes you that damn more deadly! Your intentions and beliefs are divided, and at Freedom in the Glory For Gold Qualifying Match, divided each and every participating wrestler shall fall, united I shall stand! Unless you all try and resolve those issues within yourselves you're doomed to failure! So before you speak your catchphrase or utter your next motto about how I have no chance, look in the mirror to see where your problems lay!
Andrew Savage stands up and walks across to the large window. The camera remains in a fixed position, viewing Andrew Savage as moonlight shines around him, creating his shadow in intense white light
Savage: I knew you were watching me. I could feel it, burning into the back of my head. I can never speak to myself can I? I can feel the sense of someone watching me. Some people get a little uneasy, a tad bit uncomfortable when they finally realize that somebody is watching them. But me? Doesn’t bother me one bit. Because I know that whoever is watching me, burns a desire for my blood, for my life maybe. That shows me that I am a targeted man, it shows and pardon the pun here that I am the hunted. And when that happens, I am more on my game than ever. I am always on my guard, at the top of my game, but when you’ve got someone after you, then you have to have that little extra edge.
Freedom is going to be an evening of unpredictability. So much is going on at the same time that it’s going to be chaos for the entire show and that’s what I like to see, chaos.
Andrew Savage raises his hands into the air and waves them moronically.
Savage: God damn how can you do so much in one show? You must be on Viagra to keep you that active all night. Okay onto business, onto our the match. Crysis, I have watched your career intently and one thing I have learned, you may feel unpredictability is your ally but in fact everyone has sized you up and no one gives a damn about you or your actions anymore. This is about wrestling, this is not about unpredictability, this is about being able to control a match, controlling the tempo, controlling the opposition.
Andrew Savage begins to pull his hood up over his face once more, however, he stops and begins to talk once more as if inspiration has just hit him square between the eyes.
Savage: I have to say, it’s some great matchmaking, it really is. I mean, having so many matches packed into one event and here we are, wrestling one another. Now some of you may not believe this, but I really have no problem whatsoever in taking on every man who stands between myself and my target. In fact, I’m looking forward to it because I want to see body after body fall in front of me.
Andrew Savage turns to unfold a seat and he brushes off any access water as he sits down. A few moments pass and he continues.
Savage: I could end you at any moment Crysis but I got a Challenge for you Crysis not only will are match be a Glory for the Gold Qualifying match but I will also put my Untied States Championship on the line in this match if you got the guts to take the Challenge Crysis will you prove me wrong or will you step up to the plate and prove your not scared of a challenge. I wish you the best of luck Crysis for you will HEAR THE THUNDER...HEAR THE DRUMS...FEAR THE BATTLE...FOR MAYHEM COMES...
Andrew Savage looks up at the lights and his bottom lip begins to quiver. Andrew Savage pauses as he leans forward, resting elbows on his knees and his hand holding up his chin. Camera fades to black.
