"What is a warrior ? A warrior is someone who is trained for combat and warfare and is ready for anything. I am a warrior, I am a warrior of the ring. I have been trained by the best to perform inside the squared circle as some call it. I came from the land of the rising sun, Japan, the most beautiful place on the face of this Earth. I have been through unimagineable things through out my entire life which have made me stronger. I'm coming for you USPW."
The camera fades from a solid black screen into a scene of the masked superstar, "Hajime" starring into his own reflection. He has only his mask and his ring pants on, no shirt. His torso looks like it is being held together by tape and glue with the amount of scars on it. The scars all run deep and long, not little scrathes, but deep cuts as if a knive has been dragged across his body.
"I'm on a head hunt. Being raised in Tokyo helped me learn some life lessons, always take the biggest, most respected man and bring him down if you want to be taken serious. Never try to float under the radar, you want people to respect you, fear you. I have grew up my whole life living by those words. I plan to keep living by those words through my entire stay in this company."
Hajime lifts his hands up into the reflection. He is notcieably missing his right ring finger. It's completely gone, nothing there. He looks down at his right hand where the finger should be. He shakes his head at the missing finger.
"Losing my finger was one of the hardest moments in my life. I relive it every night of my life, every time I close my eyes I see the blade coming down and slicing all the way through my tissue, and bone. All because I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I did nothing to deserve getting my finger taken from me. It's something that strives me though. I want everyone I step into the ring with to feel the pain I've felt."
He lowers his hands back down to his side. He walks backward a few steps. Now a full body reflection is seen. Hajimes body is torn to shreds, It looks like he's been through a meat grinder. The years of wrestling in those extreme matches in Japan have taken a huge toll on his body.
"Look at me. These scars are like my uniform, I wear them with such pride. Like this one."
Haijme points at a noticeably darker scar that strecthes from the right side of his ribs to his belly button.
"I recieved this one when I stepped in the ring with Prince Asai. Me and Prince Asai stepped in the ring toe to toe in a Crazy 8 Match. The belt was hanging on the top of the scaffold and we both wanted the belt. We reached the top and begin to fight it out, then he shoved me off the top and I caught my ribs on a stray piece of metal and it took fifty-three stitches to fix, I've been in those type of deals where everything goes wrong in the ring but you've still got to keep it all going so you can manage to get the win because you don't want to lose, Losing is for the weak, The strong win."
Hajime gets closer to the mirror once again and stares deep into the reflection of his own eyes. Emptiness. Nothing. That's what his eyes say. That this warrior of the ring has no fear, no care, no emotions, just the ability to decimate whatever steps in his way. The image of Hajime's eyes burn deep, the way that he looks with no emotions and his face behind his mask is a frightening image. The scamer starts to fuzz in and out before we're left with a black screen.
The black screen soon fades into another scene. We see one of the neatly decorated interview rooms of the USPW HeadQuarters. On the suade couch in front of the camera we see Hajime and his mistress Stacey Jameson setting, both dressed in business clothing. Troy Baker sets in front of the two of them with a suit that is cream colored.
"Mr.Hajime is it ? and Ms. Jameson ? It's very nice to meet you my name is Troy Baker, I'm one of the top interviewers for USPW, I get to do all the interviews with the really hyped up guys and USPW managment really encouraged me to come speak to you. Now I must ask, is English okay or should I have a translater ?"
Troy Baker was a bit shaky as he spoke. Troy looks over the masked, Hajime awaiting a response. Hajime peers at Troy before clearing his throat. Stacey puts her hand on the shoulder of Hajime.
"English is fine, Troy. I'm not some illiterate ass. I know how to speak English, I've been in America for a little over two years now. So go ahead, Throw me all the questions you have and I'll answer them in Englsih."
The emotionless Hajime said. Troy tries to laugh it off and nudge at Hajime to laugh, but Hajime stays emotionless. Troy's face is flushed bright red, He coughs to relief some tension. Stacey is giggling. Troy coughs once more before he speaks again.
"Okay. I'm sorry if I offended you. But I'll go ahead and ask you some of the questions that I've got. Let me start it all off by asking you about your past, we all know that you wrestled in a Japan organization for most of your career and then as you said came to America a couple years ago and from what I've researched you wrestled in a little mom'an'pop organization called, Second City Wrestling which was based out of Chicago. Can you tell us a little bit about those years in Japan and SCW ?"
Hajime thinks about what Troy has asked him before returning with an answer.
"My career has been very unique. I've done things no other man has ever had the chance to do. In Jisatsu Wrestling Orginization I took part in some of the most world famous matches. I wrestled against top notch talent in JWO, I was smacked with light bulbs, sheets of glass, even lit of fire and thrown off the side of the stage. That's just how we did it in JWO we literally beat the hell out of one another with anything we could find. Then when I came over to America I was approached by SCW to wrestle for them, They wanted me to bring my talents to the windy city so I did. I blazed through SCW and won the SCW World Title in a matter of months and I was the longest reigning SCW World Champion to this date. I'm very proud of my past accomplishments in JWO and SCW, I hold on to those memories."
Troy jots down word for word what Hajime just said on the note pad he has out. He finishes taking the note, and flips two pages and reads off the other question.
"You really are proud of those early years in your career. So after taking a moment to look lets take a look toward the future. You've just recentlet signed with USPW and from what I've heard coming from the back you're pretty highly looked upon, How's that settle in your mind ?"
Hajime sits still with the same emotionless look as before as he answers.
"USPW is going to make a nice home. I look forward to wrestling here. It's not like SCW, a little company, USPW is one of the largest companies in the United States. I look forward to bringing my talents in the ring and showing everyone what kind of warrior I have been trained to be."
Troy jots down these words as well. He flips the pages back to find his third question.
"Alrighty, I've got one more question and I'll let you and Ms.Jameson get on your way. I'm dying to know what's your take on this Friday night, You're going to be getting in the ring and debuting against a legend in, The Brian Magnum. He's the former Championgs Advantage holder and has a very decorated past. How are you looking at the match with him ?"
Hajime's expression does not change as he answers the final question from Troy Baker's interview.
"When I heard about this match I wasn't quite sure how I would try to handle this Brian Magnum character. Then I started hearing some things about him. How he called out his sworn enemy AJ Johnson and lost. He lost the Champions Advantage and threw his chance at a World Title shot out of the window. I also found out that he's got this new found love for some type of false god. My friend, Do not worship something that is in your head, no god is guiding you to the so called light, it's only guiding you to your own demise. He's not even going to be a challenge to me, I'll unravel my warrior spirit and completely demolish the poor man. He won't be good for anything after I'm done with him."
Troy jots those final words down and stands up. Hajime and Stacey both stand up as well, Troy extends his hand to Hajime but Hajime simply bows, Troy turns his hand to Stacey and she gently shakes it.
"Well, Thank both of you for being here. I wish you luck this Friday, Hajime."
Troy turns and walks into the back part of the interview room. Hajime and Stacey exit the room and start to walk down the hallway. They walk for a minute in silence before Stacey speaks.
"Hajime. You seem a little on edge, is everything alright ?"
Hajime stops. Stacey keeps going before stopping and turning to Hajime.
"Everything is alright."
Stacey shakes her head and the two continue to walk for a few moments in silence before Stacey speaks once more.
"Well if you're not going to tell me what's wrong with you, tell me something else you've never told me before. What happened to your finger ?"
They continue to walk as Hajime replies.
"That's a moment I'd rather not relive Stacey. But, when the time comes, I'll tell you what happened."
The camera starts to fuzz in and out again as the scene ends with Hajime and Stacey walking down the hallway.
